My Johari Window

From the website:

"The Johari Window was invented by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingram in the 1950s as a model for mapping personality awareness. By describing yourself from a fixed list of adjectives, then asking your friends and colleagues to describe you from the same list, a grid of overlap and difference can be built up."

Ok, so I'm asking. Please click on the link above and click once on 5-6 words on the grid that you think describes me.

To see what my Johari Window looks like at this moment, click HERE.

*shrug*

We'll see what happens, I guess.

I get the site overload message too - mind you I saw this over on someone elses blog so maybe it's kind of popular at the moment...

I'll try to remember to check in again to do this...

By the way, do you get to find out what adjectives we pick for you?! ;-)

Apparently, it is making the LJ rounds, so lots of people are signing up and/or doing other peoples' ones. Hope you make it in soon!

Ooops...

I accidentally did it twice...
priyabradfield From: priyabradfield Date: February 12th, 2006 01:02 pm (UTC) (Link)
LOL! But you did different adjectives the second time (mostly different). :-D

I figured it would remember if I took it before coz I certainly couldnt...
I already did three of them yesterday and I was having trouble keeping track of whose I already did.

If I had seen "sentimental" I would have chosen that one too.
priyabradfield From: priyabradfield Date: February 12th, 2006 01:03 pm (UTC) (Link)
"Sentimental" was there...so far, 4 out of 11 people chose it for me. LOL

HOW DARE YOU ASK ME TO DO THIS SIMPLE MEME THAT TAKES NO TIME OUT OF MY DAY AND IS ACTUALLY QUITE AMUSING, THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT ME TO TOLERLATE SOMETHING SO FUN, GOD. THE INTERNET IS SERIOUS BUSINESS INDEED

I think the answer is pretty obvious, don't you?

Hhhhhhmmmm...every time I try I get the site overload message. Sorry. I'll try again later! (Just because I want to.)
sammykate From: sammykate Date: February 13th, 2006 06:50 am (UTC) (Link)
Yay! I think I actually did it! (But it was really hard to just choose 5-6 words...I mean, not really hard in the "quite an imposition" sense, just hard to narrow it down. Not sure I did a good job, you know?)

Anyway, I imagine it must be interesting to see what people think of you. I'm not sure I'm ready to know what people think of me -- although, let's face it: I KNOW. Like I am anything less than a wide-open book!
priyabradfield From: priyabradfield Date: February 13th, 2006 07:03 am (UTC) (Link)
I wonder if it only allowed 5-6 words to be chosen or if you could do more...

You and me both, Sam! I'm pretty open as well...and I didn't do this fishing for compliments. In fact, I think it would have been far more interesting if it had negative qualities and anonymous capabilities. I'd like a more balanced view of myself from others' points of view.

I find it interesting that so many people think of me as Brave. Friendly, warm and brave - those were my top three adjectives. :-)
