Taking a break! - A Movement In Time And Space
Moving through time and space in our own way
Taking a break!
I'm taking a break from LJ today! Well, at least for most of the rest of today. :-)

Last night I did something scrapbooking/crafts related. It felt so good! I finished up making these decorated rolodex cards for my scrapping friends in North America. Played with stamps and glitter - wheeeee! I haven't done anything with all my stuff like that since moving here. I've got the urge to get my scrap room set up and working on my pictures again. Gotta find a good printer around here...everyone tells me Costco, which I believe since that's where I got pics printed in the US, but once again, it is something I'd have to rely on someone to help me with (getting there and back). I am starting to want to get a car. Actually, I want a car and driver. We'll see when THAT happens though. *sigh*

Heading out in a few minutes with Kelly (Paul's wife) to check out a preschool for Nadia. It is a Korean preschool, they have a waiting list until at least March, but it is close to the apartment. Hopefully they speak enough English to be able to communicate with me. We'll see. It would be cool for Nadia to pick up Korean in a natural setting.

(Yes, ravi, I need to learn Korean. I learn best in a classroom setting and, with two small kids, that isn't possible right now. I'm not disciplined enough to learn it on my own.)

Looking through my friends' posts list, I see lots I want to answer to. Will save that for later.

Feeling a bit blah today...not sure why. Sort of since yesterday, actually. Just blah.

What I'm feeling: blah blah

I just don't *get* the whole scrapbooking thing.

Mind you, there's probably a ton of stuff you wouldn't get about me either...such is the wonderful fabric of life!

Have fun with your glue stick! ;-)

:-p to you too!

A lot of people who don't scrap, don't get it. But if you saw my completed pages and books, I think you'd begin to appreciate it. :-)

I TOTALLY didn't get it until I did it for the first time. But there are just so many littlelittle things to buy and use. And it's much pretty instant gratification too. You can finish one page and look back and say, "Ahh! I finished something!" :)
