Moving through time and space in our own way
*nods in agreement*

Hey, Mom and Dad - I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again.

Thank you.

Totally, 100% agree. Parenthood is not an easy job and it's mostly a thankless job (sorta like CS...lol). The tough part is that is seems most kids never truly appreciate their parents until they have children of their own. At least that was the case for me. My mom and I patched things up when I was in my 20s, but I didn't really get the whole mom thing until I became one myself.

Priya, who is this lady? Do you know her? She seems like she's addressing a community or group of people that she knows.

I guess she has a channel on YouTube. I found this video on YouTube's suggestions list.

I can't say I agree. I went in knowing it would be a lot of work, but I don't find it to be a thankless job at all. They don't constantly gush their appreciation, but I know it's there. There are hundreds of subtle little reminders every day. Sure it gets overwhelming at times, but that's par for the course. That poor woman.

Well, I think she has a different perspective from us - she has kids in their teens. While I hope that my kids will be different, I can imagine that the feelings are very different from what I have now, which is free hugs and kisses and them saying that I'm the best mommy in the whole world cause I make awesome PB&J sandwiches!

I can see where she's coming from. I can imagine a day in her life. Its a tough duty.
