Getting ready to go to the bathroom to wash up for snack time!
Setting up. Chris serving up some Cheezits!
Her teachers did the decorating.
Ready for the candles!
Nadia likes this part.

It was good cake!
Nadia especially liked the icing.
She ate almost that whole piece by herself!
Getting her gift.
The class moms all decided to pitch in about 3 bucks for each child and getting them one nice present each from the class. It's a great idea, rather than getting 15 tiny little gifts from moms who barely know the kids.
Opening the present - what will it be?!
A Disney Princess backpack!!
Just what she needed - good thing the room moms ask what each child needs or wants. :-)
Actually, she wasn't sure if she liked it...
Until she tried it on!
Watching the other kids have their turn at show-and-tell.
My heart melted...again.
Her turn at show-and-tell...she's three!
But that wasn't the show-and-tell, it was just her answering her teacher's question about how old she is now.
Nadia blowing out her candles reminds me that Audrey has yet to blow out birthday candles. At her second birthday she burst into tears when the cake came and a little boy called Callum blew them out instead!
That second picture of her watching show&tell looks so much like Maya! And wow the cuteness! I'm still impressed that she's able to have such an elaborate and decorated birthday party at school, what fun!
Adorable! She is looking so much like Maya these days! Especially the pictures from overhead, where you can see her bangs and her eyelids are lowered (like the Yay one and the icing pic and eating the whole piece of cake). She's a cutie!
Happy birthday to Nadia. From some angles she looks exactly like Maya. And from some angles she looks exactly like you. But in every one that you can see her eyes, the intelligence and shrewdness of Chris's eyes are there. She is a smart cookie this one. Congratulations. Your baby is growing up into a strong young girl it looks like.
